Our Community Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to address various needs in our community, from basic necessities to educational support and emergency assistance.

Community Food Pantry

Saturdays 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Providing fresh groceries and essential items to families and individuals in need throughout Adelaide.

Program Features:

  • Personal care products
  • No questions asked policy

Impact: 150+ families served monthly

Community Meals

First Sunday of each month

Free, nutritious meals served in a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity.

Program Features:

  • Hot, nutritious meals
  • Welcoming atmosphere
  • No cost to guests
  • Community fellowship

Impact: 80+ people fed monthly

English Language Classes

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Free English language instruction for international students and new immigrants to Australia.

Program Features:

  • Beginner to advanced levels
  • Qualified instructors
  • Cultural orientation
  • Conversation practice

Impact: 30+ students enrolled

Emergency Assistance

Available as needed

Immediate support for individuals and families facing unexpected crises or hardships.

Program Features:

  • Financial assistance
  • Temporary accommodation help
  • Utility bill support
  • Crisis counseling

Impact: 50+ families assisted annually

Volunteer Opportunities

Join our team of dedicated volunteers and make a real difference in your community. We have opportunities for people with all kinds of skills and availability.

Food Pantry Volunteer

2-4 hours per week

Help sort, organize, and distribute food items to community members.

Skills needed: Friendly attitude, basic organizational skills

Meal Preparation Team

One Sunday per month

Assist with cooking and serving community meals.

Skills needed: Basic cooking skills, food safety awareness

English Tutor

2 hours per week

Support English language learners in their studies.

Skills needed: Native English speaker, patience, cultural sensitivity

Administrative Support

Flexible hours

Help with program coordination, data entry, and communication.

Skills needed: Computer literacy, organizational skills
